resorts-is on sale. Sometimes they read to Bay View, sometimes Petoskey, or Petoskey and Bay View. It is all the same. When a through tourist ticket cannot be found, then buy to nearest large city en route, and there buy a tourist ticket. This can always be done at the following points, at prices given for the round trip: Chicago, $14.85 by rail; $9 to $13 by water; Louisville, Ky., $22.75; Cincinnati, $18; St. Louis, Mo., $27.70; Cleveland, $18.50 by rail, $15.35 by lake and rail; Buffalo, $21. People along, or tributary to the New York Central R. R., will do well to arrange for through tickets by corresponding with Mr. W. H. Underwood, Eastern passenger agent M. C. R. R., Buffalo.

HOW TO REACH BAY VIEW.

PROBABLY for no other summer watering place has railroad enterprise done so much as it has for Bay View. It is extraordinary that one can take through cars from Detroit, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Chicago and intermediate points, and be landed in the center of the lake front where the great lake steamers, by Bay steamer transfer, also land their passengers. The following lines lead from principal points:
