On the 15th of August a Letter from Major- A Letter to the General Harrifon, with feveral intercepted Letters Speaker, from inclofed, from the Duke of Hamilton, Lord Went- Major-General Harrison, incloworth, and the Earl of Lauderdale, was read as fing an interceptfollows: a

a All these Letters were printed by Order of the House, at this Time, and are in our Collections. That from Harrison (inclofing the others) has been compared with the Original, now in the Poffeffion of the Rev. Dr. Grey, Rector of Houghton-Conqueft, in Bedfordfhire: A Gentleman to whom the Compilers of this Work are much obliged for the Loan of feveral MSS. &c. which have greatly contributed to the Improvement of this Work.
