A grand copy of this beautifully printed work, so valuable musically and liturgically. Many of the tunes are in four parts. It is one of the scarcest of the Lutheran service books.

The Composer was probably a nephew of Jacob Kirkman the maker of harpsichords and pianofortes, though in Grove's Dictionary he is wrongly identified with him, while Fétis calls him Jean Kirkman."
