MESSRS. ELLIS beg to inform readers of their Catalogues that not only do they deal in scarce and out-of-print works, but they also furnish modern and recent books in every branch of Literature, Art, and Science.

They make a special feature of the work of supplying all new books and periodicals to Libraries, Universities, Colleges, Institutions, Historical and Learned Societies, etc.

Careful attention is devoted to lists of desiderata, and the making of collections upon particular subjects.

They have a large and extensive stock of valuable Books, Manuscripts, Music, and Engravings, on view at 29 New Bond Street (which has been a book-shop since 1728), to the inspection of which all book-lovers and collectors are cordially invited.

Catalogues of selected portions of their stock of Rare Books of Literature, History, Travel, Art, Music, etc., etc., and of Prints, are issued periodically, and are sent post free to applicants in all parts of the world.

Regular attendance is given at Sales by Auction, at which Messrs. Ellis place their knowledge and experience at the disposal of their clients, and spare no trouble in executing any commissions entrusted to them. Messrs. Sotheby's Sale Rooms are adjacent.
