MARYLEBONE, LONDON. - The annual congregational meeting of the Marylebone Presbyterian Church was held in the Titchborne Street Rooms, on the evening of 28th March. Tea was served from six to seven o'clock, and the business of the evening was opened at half-past seven by devotional exercises. The treasurer's statement was then read, showing a reduction of 27 20 the debt on the building during the past year of £325; the debt now standing at £3,850, having been in 1854 nearly £7,000, the subscriptions and collections for the Synod schemes, London City Mission, assistance to continental churches, &c. amounted to £452; the total annual income of the church being £2,145. Chalmers, the pastor; by Mr. R. to 31st March, per A. Wark Bell, the superintendent of the Sabbath schools; by Mr. Withers, the city missionary, supported by the congregation; by Mr. James Robertson, giving an account of the labours of the Bible woman supported jointly by the Regent Square and Marylebone congregations; and by Mr. Brownlow North, who made a solemn and searching 13 6 appeal to all present.
