The Science of Arithmetic Through Fractions

By A. JONES, Marion Normal Institute

The purpose of this book is to help teachers and advanced students. It discusses the subject of arithmetic from the relation side, and attempts to give the reasons for the various process. The discussions are more complete than are to be found in arithmetics. It deals with the difficulties, and gives many solutions to show the application of principles and how to express relations in written solutions.

Solutions from Indiana Arithmetic

In a supplement in the last part of the book, about 100 of the most difficult problems in the Indiana Advanced Arithmetic have been solved to illustrate how arithmetical relations may be expressed through analysis.

The price of the book is 50c. For sixty days it will be mailed free to each subscriber to the Teacher's Journal. For $1.35 we will send you the Teacher's Journal one year, The Pathfinder (weekly) one year and the above book.
