CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS.

By an act of the Legislature passed April 22, 1852, the State was divided into the eleven following Districts for the purpose of electing representatives to the thirty-third and subsequent Congresses of the United States.

District 1.

All of Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties; the city of New Bedford and towns of Dartmouth and Fairhaven, in Bristol county; the towns of Carver, Kingston, Plymouth,Plympton, Rochester, and Wareham, in Plymouth county.

District 2.
