MY LITTLE HYMN BOOK. ~ I THANK you, thank you, mother dear, And when these hymns I read or hear, I'll have a pleasant look. I'll learn to say the little hymn, Which teaches me at night, To think how good my God has been, And thank Him for the light. And I will also learn to say Another song of praise, To make me thankful night and morn, And all my future days. LITTLE CHARLES. Oh where, where is my basket gone? I do believe some boy or girl And kitty, too, I can't find her, I wish I could my basket find, I'll go to mother's room and look, For kitty loves to take a nap In mother's easy-chair.
