Senator Sacket offered the following amendment:

Amend section 1 by inserting after the words "Hon. Cadwallader C. Washburn," where they occur in the fifth line of the printed bill, the words "Hon. John A. Johnson and Hon. J. T. Lewis," and strike out the word "his," where it occurs in the fifth line, and insert in lieu thereof the word "their;" also strike out the word "an where it occurs in the sixth line of the printed bill; also add the letter "s" to the word "honorary," in the sixth line.
