Resolved, That the thanks of the senate are due, and are hereby tendered to Chalmers Ingersoll, sergeant-at-arms of this body, and assistants, for the courteous and efficient manner in which they have discharged the duties of their respective positions. 40. Resolved, That the thanks of this body are hereby tendered to the senator from the 15th for his new words in parliamentary prac tice," stand off."
