So the rabbit and the turtle ran

The rabbit went first, and ran fast.
Then he said to himself,

"I will stop and play."

So the rabbit played under a tree. The turtle did not stop.

He went as fast as he could.

When the rabbit awoke, he
jumped up and ran fast.

But when he came to the tree, he saw the turtle there first. So the turtle beat the rabbit.
