The flag is red, white, and blue.
The sun will shine, and we
will put out the flag.

What a pretty flag!

Let the rain and snow come!
Let the north wind blow!
The flag will not be hurt.
The birds will see the flag.
That bird is a robin.
Can you see another bird?
I see two other birds.

The wolf caught a goat,
and wanted to eat him.
But the dogs came,

and caught the wolf.
Another day, the wolf saw

a goat, on a great rock. He could not get the goat. A little bird saw the wolf. He said, "Wolf, you can not get that little goat."

Do you see the lion?

I never saw a lion.
A lion is strong.

A lion is like a great cat.
A little mouse is not strong.
But the mouse could help
the great, strong lion.

Let the little boys help

one another.

We like to help, as well as we can.
The wolf will not help you.
He will eat you, if he can.
