The following resolution was agreed to by the Senate, and concurred in by the House of Representatives, July 17, 1886: Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring therein), That there be printed of the last annual reports of the Smithsonian Institution and of the National Museum, in two octavo volumes, sixteen thousand extra copies of each, of which three thousand copies shall be for the use of the Senate, six thousand copies for the use of the House of Representatives, and seven thousand copies for the use of the Smithsonian Institution.
