After each reading of the Epistle and Gospel, the book provides the various writings and homilies related to that reading by various Saints including St. John Chrysostom, St. Cyril of Alexandria, St. John Climacus, and others.
I showed this to my Priest and he ordered one!
I wanted to get an Orthodox Study Bible and this book comes the closest to what I need. This book is for all Orthodox and other Christians. It is Spiritual in that the readings guide the soul away from earthly matters and toward God. -
